The episode where the guy breaks into their house and tries to rape Edith (On her birthday I think??) Is so hard to watch/ extremely disturbing. I remember I was looking for something to watch one night when I was a kid and stopped on AITF for a laugh and boy did I not get it.
I wonder if there was controversy over it at the time for dealing with such a heavy subject so openly? Still gives me shivers thinking about it.
That story line was originally going to be a One Day At A Time episode with Ann being the victim, but they decided instead to use it with Edith in All In The Family for some reason...

But, the loan was in my name, and she wasn't gonna make full payments. So, I ended up paying the full 10 thousand plus loan back myself, because I didn't want too much interest to incrue.
