Dreamt episode or real?

I really enjoyed this series when I was a child and I bought the DVD's when they came out and watched them quickly. I then got confused because I could swear there was an episode where the duo were in a small town and the Kid was constantly being goaded by a town Tough. Everytime the kid was wearing a gun this tough would be at him. Heys would advise the Kid to back down and not wear his gun in case the Kid drew and showed his prowess and thus revealed his true identity. Until right at the end where the Kid has had enough and is about to leave town when the tough challenges him again and the Kid obliges possibly even killing the guy?

So have I dreamt this up or is this a missing episode?

You didn't dream it, it was season 2, McCreedy Bust Going, Going, Gone. The tough guy was played by Lee Majors; the Kid did shoot him at the end but didn't kill him.

Thanks a million. I have the DVD set but have not watched them all and the synopsis for this episode on the DVD case did not hint a this being the eps.
Am just watching it now. Once again many thanks
