This was a pre-Brokeback Mountain story about 2 gay cowboys. Only the difference in this case was that they were actually happy and in love. Of course they had to pretend to be interested in women, but I never believed it for a minute when I watched this growing up. In fact it gave me hope that 2 gay men could actually be happy together.

What is it that homosexuals so often cant wrap their heads around a close relationship between two males without it being perverted into a love dynamic when its clearly not.
