Everything was laughable from start to end in this one. I can't believe it's rated so highly! Doesn't anyone see the huge plot holes? At one point Yodlaf wants to abandon Vasco, the next moment he saves him, then they fight, then they make up, then they decide to have a duel, they remove the bullets from their guns, probably leave one or two inside and then shoot and kill some random gunmen? Seriously?
Doesn't anyone think the (otherwise brilliant) title song is played to death?
Really, I can't feel the love for this, it sucks compared to other spaghetti westerns.

I’ve just finished my first viewing and I must say, although not awful, it doesn’t live up to its reputation as one of Corbucci’s finest films. Maybe after watching it again it will grow on me.

Edit: 6 months later and after repeat viewings I must say I truly
love this film now.

Edit: 1 year later and after many viewings this has become one of my favorite spaghetti westerns of all time. 😀
