shareI'm glad you like it. Try Keoma, that's my favorite Nero. I am gonna watch Texas, Adios soon. Of course, my all time greatest is Once Upon a Time in the West, but I love Fistful of Dynamite too...hell, all of Leone.
shareTEXAS, ADIOS is a lesser film, maybe Nero's worst Western before CRY ONION. Companeros is one of my favorites. An action comedy with a political background with a top European cast.
shareCompaneros is indeed a great movie. Tomas Milian and Franco Nero are always good, but together they are dynamite. One funny thing about this film (at least to Swedes, like me) is the part when Franco Nero and Fernando Rey speak "Swedish". Fernando Rey's pronunciation is better than Nero's, even tho it's the latter who is supposed to be Swedish in the film. One can actually kind of guess what Rey is trying to say. But seriously, what a fantastic film this is. Funny all the way. And the score by Morricone is the most contagious score I've ever heard.

I found him hilarious. I liked the part where the generals (or whatever) are giving him an advance in his payment in the form of some 40 joints. Great film!
shareI'm from Norway, and I also liked that part. Could understand some of what they were saying. And I agree, Rey speaks Swedish better than Nero.

I have to say that Keoma is fantastic. The music, atmosphere and the characters are too cool. A lot of Django stuff too. Also, Olga Karlatos is beautiful as always. Now, as far as Texas Adios... well, I didn't care too much it.
shareI don't like Texas Adios very much either, nor Massacre Time. I'd give them both a five out of ten.
shareNero and Milian together is something that blows you up. :)
I'm a Milian fan since I've seen Tepepa... :) He's always great.
And Jack Palance is brilliant. I like his falcon. A nice homage to Boccaccio...
“Olga Karlatos is beautiful as always”
She is absolutely beautiful to the point of being amazing as far as I’m concerned and I love watching everything she’s in.
Agreed. It's a hugely enjoyable film. The chemistry between Franco Nero and Tomas Milian really keep it humming throughout.
I am the Duke of IMDb bio writers! I am A#1!
Also one of my favorite films of all time. Tomas Milian's smile towards Nero near the ending ("Vamos a matar!") is one of the finest moments in film history.
