TCM showing tonight

Good of them to show this since it probably won't be on release. Thanks TCM.

So was this shown in widescreen? How was the picture quality?

My full screen VHS copy looks like crap, almost like it was recorded in EP mode.

Sure would like to have a widescreen copy of this film, El Condor and a nice 2:35 transfer of Captain Apache....

I'll check and get back to you but from what I remember the picture quality was good (it is TCM after all), don't know if it was widescreen. After watching the copy I recorded from TCM looks fullscreen.

Well, I got a look at the TCM transfer. It is a beautiful full-frame transfer with both the opening and closing credits in widescreen 2:35.

it's a very nice transfer of this hard to find film with no commercials that will have to do until we get a 2:35 transfer in circulation...

I saw this - seems to be in Widescreen with English language option.

Again tomorrow:

On Sunday October 10, 2010 at 6:15 PM (EST), TCM presents a real rarity as part of its tribute to Tony Curtis: the rarely-seen 1970 adventure You Can't Win 'Em All starring Curtis and Charles Bronson as mercenaries in Turkey. The film was directed by Peter Collinson, who helmed the original classic The Italian Job.

Very good Charles Bronson movie
