No Tattoos

One thing I noticed when watching this is how nobody had tattoos back then! Not like nowadays where everyone is all tatted up. It was refreshing to see that actually.

No piercings either! Also, nobody wore baseball caps!

Also no t-shirts with corporate logos or brands!

However, during the rainstorm scene, there's a group of guys hanging out under a plastic sheet. For a second, you can see one of the guys wearing a white t-shirt with what looks like an "Adidas" logo. It's not real clear but I see something that looks like that.

Yeah, tattoos weren't really such a big thing until about 10 years ago or so. They existed obviously, but it wasn't such a trend.

During the 60's and 70's, only men who had been in the armed forces or who were bikers had tattoos. The only thing that was pierced were women's ears and then only one pierce per ear. This sort of thing was frowned upon, which is why I suppose the younger generation started having it done in the mid to late 90's. Men did not wear earrings unless they were pirates. :-D

Very true. And no fatsos too.

Comparing Americans now to then shows the Decline of Western Civilization quite painfully.

After all... tomorrow is another day.

Not like how it is today of course. Criminals love to get tattooed back then. Hell, today grandmothers get tattoos.

In the '60s my dad had a couple of tattoos on his biceps that he got when he was in the Navy in WWII. They seemed exotic and unusual, and were the only tattoos I ever saw. The idea of a woman being covered with tattoos was inconceivable. Now I'd buy a ticket to see a young woman with no tattoos.

I agree
