the headshave/bleeding scene

This wasn't one of the fantasy sequences but was presented as real. Presumably some superstitious pseudo-medical thing, but I can't find any references to it. Anyone know what it was all about?

A superstitious pseudo-medical thing is what it is. I've seen them do this in China, sans headshaving and bleeding, on different body parts.

If you think Pantera is good music, you married your cousin and your retarded son's name is Cletus

It's called 'cupping': http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cupping_therapy
