Just Saw This

I'm a big Hammer and Amicus fan, and this is one of those movies I have always been aware of but have had no desire to see. Lately, however, I had a change of heart when I was looking through my DVD cabinet at my Hammer/Amicus/British flicks and wishing I had something new in this department to watch. I began researching it here on IMDB and learned it's a trilogy, sort of, with LUST and TWINS. I was always aware of those flicks, too, but didn't know they were all connected. Anyhow, I just watched the movie last night, expecting to hate it, since I'm not a big fan of the Hammer vampire flicks. Well, I was wrong, I actually thought it was damn good, and the chicks were hot. Ingrid Pitt is quite a looker. I thought the opening was quite creepy, too. I'm currently awaiting LUST FOR A VAMPIRE to arrive in the mail, then I'll have to go the bootleg route for TWINS OF EVIl.

As soon as I'm done here, I'm going to check out COUNTESS DRACULA.
