Help me find the name of an old Vampire flick

...I am looking for the title of a 60s/70s vampire film that i remembered from when I was young. I remember hardly anything about the plot or what actually happens in the film (or the cast). All I can remember is in one of the last scenes a good looking vampire women walks some guy down into a basement of some sort with candles burning everywhere....She tells the man "this is what I am" (something along the lines of that) bites him on the neck and that was all I remember.

I know that this is not much to go on, but if it rings a bell with anyone please give me the answer. Ive been looking for a few days at possible films that could be it- but so far no luck. Thanks!

Sounds like the like the ending of "Lust for a Vampire" which is the sequel to "The Vampire Lovers".

"Lust for a Vampire" doesn't end that way, as I recall...

<<<<<POTENTIAL SPOILERS>>>>

As I remember it, Mircalla (Yutte Stensgaard) tries to 'take Richard leStrange with her' by biting him, but he recoils, and she is impaled by a section of roof beam which falls from the burning ceiling of Castle Karnstein...

Richard is led away with his new love (Janet Playfair) supporting him. A bit of a let-down, really - a vampire film with a happy-ish ending...

"The Opener of the Way is Waiting"

I thought that burning beam shooting down from the ceiling was the most spectacular vampire staking scene Hammer ever did. Also Yutte Stensgaard made the most stunning and yet the most coy of Hammer's vampires.
