Broadcast's Haha Sound

As anyone heard the Broadcast album 'Haha Sound'? There is a track on the album called 'Valerie' that is a reference to this wonderful movie. And I just want to add that I hope this comes out on DVD at some point over the next 50years before I die!

Thanks for the information on this album! I will definately be picking this up! I wish that an actual soundtrack to the film would be released because it is some of the loveliest choral music I have yet to hear. Well, one can dream...

Yes, I agree with missyamerica18. I have been hunting high and low for nearly 10 years for some form of soundtrack to this incredible film, but so far, all I have found is a quantity of similar music by the film's composer Lubos Fiser, and also by the man that plays the priest in the movie, Jan Klusak. One day I will find a strange-looking Czech LP in a junk shop, I know I will!

Maybe try in Prague if you haven't found that strange-looking LP yet.

Lovely montage someone made with the song and film:

I love how the song uses a sped up melody from the original soundtrack.

R.I.P. singer Trish Keenan.

It was a terrible loss to a wonderfully evolving band. In some ways the music is even more powerful as a consequence. A new album is supposed to be in the works using recordings Trish made before her untimely death.
