Another powerful drama from Guney trying to raise awareness of lower class poverty in Turkey. Guney in this film plays a horse cab driver and his cab has been hit by a car and killed his horse, robbing him of his living. In desperation he even tried to rob a U.S Army Officer with a fake gun. But then the attempt goes wrong and he had to run away almost losing his one of Adana type shoe.
Another truelly best film and best actor awards at Antalya Film Festival.
Remembering Yilmaz Guney, which we lost suddenly in 1984. If you are a Guney fan i'm sure you will watch this film with a tear in your eye. Wonderful Film.
