I have the same problems with US only releases (e.g. "The Man from UNCLE", not available at all in UK)! I don't think it's been edited ("Secondrun" have a good reputation for east european films and wouldn't edit a film), I doubt that it's censorship issues (even for us Brits with our stupid censorship!). More likely it's the difference between film and TV running times (24 frames but 25 for TV, slightly faster) - for every 25 minutes of a film you 'lose' 1 minute of film (hence it's possible to watch a film on DVD whilst in a cinema with the same film showing and when the DVD finishes you can watch the last few minutes agin in the cinema!). Contact the company "Secondrun" - I often do this and most of the time I get a response!

Take care!

I dubbed it from a showing on Turner Classics last week.
