Trog - Unjustly maligned

Trog isn't my kind of movie - I watched it because a fave actor of mine was in it - Simon Lack.

But really...it wasn't as bad as its been painted. Deriviative, sure...1 1960s movie made in the 70s...

No way would a single Doctor be allowed to keep this "missing link" - a whole cnsortium of scientists would want their hands on him.

But forgive it that...

And the bad dinosaur fight...okay - so they had to pad about 10 minutes into the film!

Apart from that...? As a previous poster said...it's because it's a Joan Crawford film...and heck, she wasn't that bad in it.

Someone else complained about Trog being implanted with something that will enable him to speak, and then the film "forgetting" about it later. Well, that's wrong, he does say a few words - hard to understand - at he end of the film.

It's a typical "sympathetic monster" movie. Treat Trog gently, and he'll be gentle back. Attack him, and he kills.

Nowhere near as awful as legend illustrates.

Butt out of this or I’ll strip the hide off your cherry picker!
