Joan Crawford question

If she could be so nice to an ape, why couldn't she be nice to her daughter?

At last someone writes something that rings true about that brat! Check out Christina's reputation and what she's done with her life. Now, you're going to take HER word for what happened?!

I guess you didn't catch, in the film, when it ends by practically saying she did all of it only as revenge for not getting what she considered her share when her mother died. It's unbelievable that people take someone who took such a cheap shot at her word! They must have grown up reading those scandal mags and believing every word.

I throw my support to Joan Crawford!

My dear friend Joan was a true lady who had lots of class. We were already friends when she made this film. Her mere presence could make any monster movie seem like art. She was always very good acting with monsters like Trog, Bette Davis, Norma Shearer and Mercedes McCambridge. And she looked wonderful in Trog. She followed my make-up advice.

Don't worry, I ain't on the side of saints yet.

I agree that she makes any movie she's in better. I've never been disappointed with a performance. There's one in which the makeup and wardrobe person made some very bad decisions; from what I've heard, it was on purpose. Otherwise, all of her "looks" look great! And, she has far more range than most actresses~or actors.

I've been a fan since I was a little girl in the Fifties.
