This movie got me complex

Is it pro-war or anti-war!?? both Drake & Adrien got there points across, but nobody came out ahead, I loved the movie but the ending let me down.
Not to mention Kubrick copied a lot of scenes for FMJ "the suicide shower scene" hmmm...
