... that even though Goldie retained her American accent, Goldie didn't always say things the way an American would? A British writer, Terence Frisby, is the culprit, but the real problem is an all British production crew and possibly not consulting with Goldie on anything that came up sounding awkward to her in the script.

On the other hand, she had been living in London and might have picked up some of the lingo, such as referring to women as "birds".
