Not that bad, has some good moments

If nothing else its a fun glimpse into an era that might have been before your time. The soundtrack is about the most atrocious, torturously bad songs I've ever heard!!!

I want to watch this, but how or where? I would definitly watch if given the opportunity, if it were to be put on a cheap disc that crosses my path, Hulu.com or on television (but HBO or TCM, not a regular station as they edit movies).

Netflix had it when i used to be a member.

I don't have Netflix though. Any other options?

Though this won't help you, I just saw it on TCM less than a week ago. I was surprised that TCM did have Goldie's nude scene, a view of her bare bum. I don't know if the original movie had more. Since TCM is more main stream than either HBO or Showtime, this did surprise me. With or without this scene, I loved this little film, though I was dissappointed with the ending. All I can suggest is to keep checking the TCM site as they are known to re-show their films quite often. To be sure, there were a couple of other somewhat risque scenes, (for TV), that I was surprised to see on this TCM feature.

I couldn't stand it...gave up after about 40 minutes. Two unlikeable characters, and one of Sellers' worst portrayals. Lots of "wink wink" double entendre, as if the Boulton brothers were taking lessons from the "Carry On" gang.

Regarding the music: it's the same composer, Mike d'Abo, who wrote the theme used in the closing credits of the UK version of THE OFFICE.

I too didn't care for the film because of it's lack of sympathetic characters. Mike d'Abo's tunes seemed evocative but a little cheesy in this movie. It's a pity that they didn't include his best song, 'Handbags And Gladrags.'

Well, I actually loved those pop ditties, disposable though they were. This is a snapshot of the swinging '60s that came out just a bit too late. Not much of substance here, but enjoyable nonetheless.
