Robert Duvall says the word, Wookiee, late in this movie. That's the way it's spelled in the subtitles.

Little did movie audiences in 1970-71 know what was going to hit them in 1977!

Late in the movie, WHEN?? Which scene? With/To whom is he speaking??

It's not Duvall who says it. It's heard in the incessant CB/radio chatter. You hear a staticy voice say, "I think that I ran over a Wookiee back there".
