Didn't Anyone Else See C3PO??

The robot that THX was working on is obviously the same basic shell used for C3PO in Star Wars. Am I the only one who could see this?? Or is it just so obvious no one else has bothered to mention it?

Never saw it as 3PO in all the times I've watched, though I can see why you would say that.
