Jewish Pope?

Some fine casting. The actor playing the Roman Chatolic Pope was a great Hungarian Jew by the name of Tamas Major who looked 100% Jewish. I remember being in the audience when this film came out, and the audience bursting into unctontrollable laughter looking at this "Jewish Pope" up on the big screen.

The movie was shot in 70mm, due to the collaboration with Russia where this equipment was widely available.

A great film overall, especially if you like Liszt. And who doesn't?
