SPOILER AT END OF COMMENT!

I watched this for the first time just two days ago. I suppose if I had seen in in the time period for which it was relevant, I might have a different comment. Be that as it may, all I can say is: "What an absolute waste of some very good actors". This movie went nowhere. Suzanne Pleshette's part was "there" for no other reason than to just "be there". But, sadly, it seems that's the only reason any of the parts were scripted. Probably one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I should have learned by now that:
"A solid cast does not a solid movie make".
(And no, I was never in the military. That also may have changed my perception.)

At the end of the movie, Nace is asked "So, what did you prove?"
His response, "Not a G** D***ED THING!"
Well, I kind of felt that way about the entire movie.
