Does anyone know where this movie was filmed? I was expecting to see the location in the credits, but it wasn't there.

Judging from the desert topography, this looks like Arizona, New Mexico or Southern California. The small town is quite charming, though I suspect the main street looks nothing like this today.

The small town was the Warner Brothers backlot.
