40 year old incoherent blather against the big bad establishment and the coming repression of 1984-oh that's right it didn't happen and now the SDS has been replaced by the tea party. Like Buffy warbles we go round and round. A superb example of self rightous paranoia of the times when like them I was young enough to know it all.

Wonderland Exile
Actually, it's a decent movie whose hippie-rhetoric excesses can be forgiven as a product of the times. It's a valuable caricature of a piece of American history, with an adequate number of flashes of reality, and the film should be looked at as such. There are plenty of "dated" films like this one that are very worthwhile if the time in which they were made is appreciated and accounted for.
