Meaning of the title

English is not my first language, can anyone explain me why is it called "The Strawberry Statement"? Is it ever mentioned during the movie?

From the wiki page:
"The title comes from a statement made by Herbert Deane, a Columbia administrator, who deprecated student opinions about university administrative decisions as having no more importance than if the students had said they liked the taste of strawberries."

Later in the wiki page you'll see that the title was, supposedly, equally motivated by the name of the psychedelic band "The Strawberry Alarm Clock".
