Optimum have delayed the DVD

The release date all over the net (play, amazon, etc.) is April the 27th but Optimum have postponed this DVD release. They are restoring the master and it won't be ready in time for then. Why the hell don't they change the date?! They did this with another British classic last year ("Seven Days To Noon"). It would be nice if they let us know rather than people finding out when they call Optimum.

Yes..........I heard! Optimum have a habit of this but then they are busy releasing many gems that haven't even been on VHS so I guess they work hard.

has anyone heard any recent news on this? a guy who seems to be an independant spokesman for Optimum has an in-depth announcement on amazon.co.uk about the delay.
