As Optimum can't be bothered, here's the plan!

Aren't we sick and tired of being jerked off by Optimum Releasing in London? I mean, like with this great film and others, they announce a dvd release date and then delay it. Then they delay it again. But with this film it's actually worse, now they are not releasing it!
Here's my plan; we ask Odeon Entertainment, lovely little dvd label producing dvd's of classic British films, if they can release this film. Take a look at their wonderful range of films on dvd and either call or e-mail them and ask if they can obtain the rights to Spring and Port Wine. Forget Optimum.

this is really bad, no word or apology from optimum. I think that idea is ok, Odeon Ent are very good for such Brit classics and maybe they'll do the dvd.

I've e-mailed Odeon Entertainment and their marketing people are looking into whether or not they can release this film.

I gave odeon entertainment my vote on this one too. Recently I e-mailed each company, Optimum and Odeon, a question re: one of their dvd's. Odeon responded within 3 days but Optimum didn't respond period. Optimum are certainly getting themselves a bad name!

Bad news I'm afraid, I just had an answer from Odeon. They can't do the dvd as Optimum hold the rights! So we're at Optimum's mercy, God help us!!
