I remember seeing this as a young child, probably too young to really appreciate it, although I did have odd tastes even then.

But it has stuck with me a little, as has the title. What does it actually mean?

Any thoughts?

I have often wondered this as well......and I don`t know the answer. Caught this on You Tube recently-haven't seen it for about 30 years and it still resonates even today.

As the play/film deals with 2 generations and their different views etc Ive always presumed it was a reference to YOUNG (SPRING WINE) and the OLD (PORT WINE).
