Wtf? No one's seen this?
One board for Shinsengumi and a million for Pirates 3. The world has gone crazy.

I have just finished seeing this movie (thanks to Netflix), and I was impressed. The Shinsengumi first entered my understanding thanks to the anime/manga series "Rurouni Kenshin", in which Hajime Saito (Captain of the 3rd Squad) was a recurring character. After finishing the series, I did cursory research into the group's history, and was fascinated with the part they played in the affairs that would bring about the Meiji Restoration.
All in all, a good effort, and of course seeing Toshiro Mifune (who also produced this movie) wasn't all bad either.
Well, that's my two cents... take it or leave it.
