I bought the DVD when it first became available. It is not a very good quality but the movie is old and it was made-for-TV. I pull the movie out and watch it from time to time because I hear it calling to me from the shelves. It's one of my favorites and is an unfamiliar gem to most folks. I believe it to be Reynold's best performance. I am not a fan of his comedies and perhaps that is one reason I like this movie so much. It moved me when I first saw it on TV.

There is another oldie that I saw in the theater way back when. "Red Sky at Morning." I have a VHS copy made from the TV. I believe those who like Run, Simon, Run will also enjoy "Red Sky at Morning" if you can get your hands on it.
