The Ending

This IS an interesting film, with some offbeat and good performances by a young Jon Voight, Robert Duvall, and Seymour Cassel.

I just re-watched it recently. I had seen it several years ago and have been searching for a copy of it and finally found one.

However, I did not remember the ending being so ambiguous. I ordered the book and I hope that it explains more about the end.

"I can't stand a naked light bulb, any more than..a rude remark or a vulgar action" Blanche DuBois

Ambiguous? They simply ran out of film ten seconds before the end of the story. Not that anything happened--nothing happened in the preceding eighty=five minutes, either

I doubt that...
