If there's any redeeming value to this forgotten, counterculture film from 1969 is the part of the, 'good samaritans'.

Paul Collier (the late Cameron Mitchell), gets pistol-whipped and beat-up by a laughable-looking motorcycle biker gang including a young, pre-famous Jack Nicholson, while trying to fend off inappropriate advances to his pregnant fiancee, played by the late Diane Ladd. Collier goes stumbling through the town begging the townspeople for help but everyone declines until he is on his knees in the middle of the street at night, sobbing. A young Hispanic boy accosts the sobbing Paul Collier and brings him to his family, where per chance everyone, relatives and friends, are gathered for a late dinner fiesta party. These 'Hispanic' folk are somewhat unbelievable since some of them look to be white guys with sprayed-on tans and they're wearing laughable, stereotype Mexico peasant clothing. The Hispanic folks take pity on Paul Collier and accompany him back to the beach to confront the bikers.
