I notice that IMDB records the premiere as being "21 December 1970 (London) (premiere)". I've always understood that the film was actually first shown in Keighley, the nearest town to the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway where it was shot. Which is correct?

Thank you for that information. Looks as if the local legend that the film premiered in Keighley isn't true. So much for local legends!
