Has anyone seen the performance of The Railway Children in the old Eurostar platform at Waterloo? It includes a real vintage steam engine!

This has been one of my favourite films since I was a little girl, and my parents got me tickets for my birthday this year--it was absolutely wonderful! I cried a few times (I sob all the way through the movie every time!) the effects and the nostalgia were overwhelming.

Completely reccommend it to any fans of the film--or the book!

Am planning to go see it in few weeks. I've been offered a discounted ticket by the man who owns the Old Gentleman's Saloon so will take him up on his offer.

Spent a long time in the carriage itself back in May up in Yorkshire. Absolutely thrilling experience.
