Indecency

I think there was a suspicion of indecency at the reunion scene. It looked suspiciously like tongues to me. A man french kissing his own daughter. Disgusting even if it was not intended to look that way.

Perhaps cover the eyes of small children during this scene, we would not want them trying it with each other.

You're Welsh Nick, you should have appreciated this scene more than most!

I actually ADMIRE Lance Armstrong because when I took drugs, I couldn't even FIND my bike!

I didn't see anything like that at all.

I have a copy of the film, unedited version, and just to be sure I just now watched that scene closely.....and even paused it, then reviewed it slowly.

Bobbie rushes into his arms, they hug, the film deliberately freezes for a few seconds as they smile happily, then the father kisses her once on the left cheek, then once on the right cheek.

That's it. The next scene is the two of them walking up to the 'Three Chimneys" house.

The train station platform, shrouded in locomotive steam, is one of the most emotionally impactful reunions in all of film history. When the lovely Miss Agutter is finally able to recognize who it is, she runs toward the emerging figure and cries out the infamous line "Daddy....My Daddy". Being a Yank, this viewer never had the opportunity to see this wonderful picture in a theatre, but if there was a dry eye in the house as this extremely well acted scene is being played out, it would be most surprising.

As for the OP, the only "indecency" is your own imagination.
