I would also like this film on DVD in region 2 format. I have found it on DVD at e-bay but it is an

If you are in the UK and looking for region 2 you can get the railway children 1970 coupled with swallows and amazons 1974 for £15 on the web at -- bronte parsonage museum & bronte society-- in their on-line shop. shareGot my copy from Woolworths yesterday for a fiver.
Okay there's no extra's or commentary track (Studio Canal seem to be skimping with their DVD releases lately), but the widescreen print is of a very high standard and it's well worth having.
Street's ahead of my VHS off air recording anyway!

This Yank was very surprised at the clarity and vibrancy of this print on DVD. One needs to keep in mind it was filmed in Technicolor. Eye candy which Jeffries and Ibbotson took full advantage.
