Rabbit Run the movie

Does anyone out there know of a way for me to find a copy of this film?

reply

There was an article in today's local newspaper (The Reading Eagle) addressing the same concern, and if I find the answer, I'll let you know.
The movie was made on my father's insurance route while he was working, so he'd like a copy, too.

Did you ever find this information? I just downloaded the movie from Amazon, but I hate watching on my computer. I would love to find a copy!

I liked this movie too. I must have seen it on tv a couple of times in the early 90's. I think WGN, the Chicago station, aired it a couple of times a year in the early 90's and I taped it. However, over the years, and also I recorded it in the extended play so the picture and sound deteroriated to the point that I too would like to have a new and improved copy.

Now that John Updike has died, I expect it will be on local stations, and maybe even AMC. The Reading Eagle had an interesting article about Updike and how he kept in touch with a guy from the Reading area until he died. I'm sure you can access it at www.readingeagle.com.

Hello: The only place I have found to obtain this movie, is Amazon.com and it is available in a 24 hour rental download for $2.99 /or you can permanently download a copy to keep for $9.99 // I have exhausted all avenues and any hope of ever owning this flick. This is all I could come up with! I even contacted the studio and all they have remaining is the ORIGINAL film in their archives! One more thing, it is currently available on e/bay for the next few days, but the condition is such that the picture jumps for the first 6 or 7 minutes and the rest of the film is only in fair condition according to the seller, and I have already talked to him extensively! At least I let you know where it is right now! Good luck! TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES IS YOUR ONLY OTHER HOPE! KEEP CHECKING THEIR WEB SITE TO SEE IF THEY PLAN ON PLAYING THIS MOVIE IN THE NEAR FUTURE!
