I watched this movie ( The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes) last night and I really liked it! The cast was great: Robert Stephens (Sherlock Holmes), Colin Blackely, Staley Holloway, Catherine Lacey, Genevieve page and the rest of the cast were great! At the end of the movie Sherlock Holmes writes something with a pen. I highly recommend this movie.

shareI do like this movie! Very atmospheric and with a luscious score, good mystery aspect, fresh look at Holmes, and some great laughs in the opening scenes. Recommended.
I just wish they'd used a different cast. None of the leading actors is outstanding, and this is a film that might have been a genuine classic if they'd put it over the top.
