Dubbing Voice

A few years ago there was a post from someone who said she provided the voice of Pippi in the American dubbed version of this movie plus two others.

I found her post very interesting, but it vanished shortly it appeared.

If she would like to tell us all about the dubbing sessions, when and where they took place, whether she did the three films back-to-back, how she related to the character of Pippi, how she got the job, what the other kids were like, whether she continued acting or voice-work afterwards, etc... I'm sure there are people who would be interested in reading about this.

The dubbing at one point for Pippi was sooooooo hilarious...when she keeps yelling OSCAR! OSCAR!...sounded like a man...

Personally, I'd rather have the original Swedish audio with subtitles. You'd think with all the foreign film affectionados and anime snobs out there, that someone would have done this already, but nope.
Even though I don't understand Swedish, I like Pippi's real voice. She sounds more impudent, like one would expect a kid like Pippi to sound.
