One of my favorite movies, because I love Catherine Deneuve and I started watching this when I was a kid.
shareMy 3rd-year French class is gonna watch this. My teacher showed my class a condensed version done by her 4th-year last year and it looks really funny and interesting.

I just finished watching the movie.. I liked it but what the hell at the end? That helicopter came out of no where.
shareNot quite "out of nowhere".
When the princess visited the fairy godmother at her home, there was a telephone there. In the dialog the fairy godmother made one or two references to post-industrial technological items, such as batteries.
So they had set up that the fairy godmother had knowledge of, and access to, more modern technology.
Yes, the helicopter is physically much larger than the other items mentioned or seen up to that point, but that is what makes it a high impact moment.
It is me posing again, 7 years after my first post.
Just googled and found out the French version in Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEf0-9GOYgc
Peau d'Aâne, the fairy tale with the princess and her dresses for little girls...
As a little girl I was so into the dresses, talking about Sissy dress!!!!
I saw Cinderella trailer March 2015 and her dress was so beautiful.
