My observations

The Patton movie was quite enjoyable. I had probably seen parts of it as a kid but
I had never seen the whole film. I came away with mixed feelings after this. I was
impressed with his intellect BUT he reminded me of so many bosses from Hell.

The guy would really flip out if a guy was unshaven, had a button missing or didn't
have his helmet on. I thought it was crazy when he tore down the pinup art that the
soldier had on the wall by his bunk. The Guardian gave the film a B- for accuracy so
some of the stunts may have been invented. I have dealt with people like that in my life.

I also didn't know he believed in reincarnation so he actually thought he had lived
multiple lives. A lot of people would take issue with his belief in reincarnation. I would
find it to be quite odd if somebody started talking about their past lives.

The Guardian article below noted that the soldier that Patton accused of cowardice was
suffering from malaria.

I would have liked to have seen more about his death since he died from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident within a year of the events of the film.
