Left Handed Salute Before Speech?

Anyone notice how he salutes with his left hand at the beginning before his speech? Why is this? Was that a fluke in the film or osmething?

I just watched it yesterday on AMC (and DVRed it.) He saluted with his right hand. Did you by any chance watch it on Youtube or something? I have seen videos reversed there to prevent copyright sensors detecting them.

Yup, saw it on Youtube, that would explain it then.

The timing of your post was amazing. It was just a couple days ago that I heard people reversing videos to slip them past copyright violation detection on Youtube. I watched a scene from House on Youtube and it looked like he was driving a car with the steering wheel on the right. I asked the poster and he explained the copyright detection.

It's only a matter of time before the copyright detectors wise up to this trick, then people will have to start posting videos upside-down or played backwards.

A little off topic, but my dad used to salute Democrats and commies with a left-handed Nazi salute, when he saw them on tv.

My old man did the same in the German navy but with a regular salute.
