An admirable timescape of old Las Vegas

If you wish to see the original skyline of Las Vegas, this film is worth watching. It pre-dates the candy-apple circus atmosphere of today, with its stark, bright light bulbs and serious gaming ambience. No toys, no kiddies - just the rough, tawdry smell of determined gaming.

I was thinking the same thing...this was Vegas.

Yes, totally. The period flavor from the cusp of the '60s and '70s is much of this films appeal.

YES, to all three comments above. Without this film, would we even remember what the real, original Vegas was?

It was filmed mainly in France.

This movie was made when there these things called adults. Vegas was there for them. Disneyland, Six Flags, Knotts Berry Farm, etc. was for the kids.
