Warren

In the movie, Daisy says that Warren is just graduating college and is being recruited by some chemical company. But the man who plays Warren looks like he is forty. I don't know why this bugs me, but it does. Even if he was graduating from, well, graduate school he still wouldn't be forty. Oh well, I'll just have to ignore it and enjoy the rest of the movie.

You're right that Larry Blyden didn't look anywhere young enough to be a college student. Neither did Streisand for that matter, but, it's just a movie.

I hated how Barbra and Jack Nicholson insulted and humiliated him on the rooftop. A classic example of colossal 60's counterculture arrogance: he was a normal hardworking, ambitious person who wanted a family, so that meant he had to be punished for not being like them.

You nailed it.

LOL, so four years later Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford played what I call "the world's oldest living undergrads" in THE WAY WE WERE.
