I liked it then. Liked it 20 years later. Watched it recently and liked it less....... So flawed especially the dull male lead Montand . Zzzzzzzzzzz..........zzzzzzzzzzzz............... Good soundtrack. EXCELLENT Title Song and OPENING song ! Excellent opticals on the credits! Great costumes too!
Story lacks, script lacks, lacks focus.
I love 1970 though -- so I can pretty much sit thru any movie made back then!

I think it may have been better if they had not cut out so many scenes before release. They lopped out about 30 minutes.
