Coming out on DVD in February 2006

I'm proud to report that the excellent bikers-go-to-'Nam drive-in classic "The Losers" is finally coming out on DVD. It's being released by Dark Sky Films, a bang-up new label that's already amassed a solid track record with their fine DVDs for "Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer," "Terror Beneath the Sea," and "The Flesh Eaters." Announced extras include a theatrical trailer, TV and radio spots, and a commentary by Paul Koslo and William Smith. Better still, it's even going to be letterboxed from a digitally remastered print. I'm very excited about this one; it's one of my all-time favorite 70's biker pics which paved the way for such 80's action features as "Uncommon Valor," "Missing in Action," and "Rambo: First Blood Part II." It's slated for a February release at the suggested retail price of $19.99. I'm already drooling at the thought of finally owning a copy of this baby on DVD.

I watched this on DVD today, great movie! It had comedy, action, and lots of guns! Werewolves on Wheels was pretty cool too.

What great news! I saw this movie in a drive-in in Clearwater, Florida when I was in hi-skool. As I remember it (vaguely, very vaguely, I was so high) it was _the stupidest movie ever made_.

I'll be looking for this crazy thing in the stores and I will rent it when I see it, and make my wife watch it. I bet she'll love it.
