Al Freeman Is Absolutely Marvelous in This Film

My Sweet Charlie is one of the finest television films ever made. It is more than mere entertainment. This film is art. Patty Duke is letter perfect and Al Freeman, Jr. matches her from beginning to end. Al Freeman is an actor greatly underrated.

T.V. films were awesome back in the day. I'm still trying to get hold of "How I Spent My Summer Vacation" with Jill St. John, Robert Wagner, and Peter Lawford.

My Sweet Charlie was mesmerizing.

Go and look for the film you want on youtube. You'd be surprised to see the old movies you can watch for free.

I was lucky to find this on VHS. It's a very sweet, sadly forgotten treasure from the golden age of TV movies.
