42 years later

I saw this [in a theatre of course] in 1971 in Australia and have not seen it since but just ordered the DVD and can't wait to revisit it, especially as my classical music appreciation only started 2 years later in 1973.

My interest was aroused by Cloud Atlas when I realised that the Frobisher character was based heavily on Tchaikovsky [and Ayrs on Nietzsche] and the "thing" Ayrs is humming in his demented state is the 4th, though it's hard to imagine it as like Nietzsche Ayrs is close to madness from the clap.

Has anyone seen Cloud Atlas?
