I have just watched this movie on TCM, and the thing that struck me the most was that Christian Roberts voice seemed dubbed!! Am I correct? Otherwise the movie was pretty dull with some first class actors wasted on a very predictable storyline. Maybe a more competent director would have handled it better. I am not surprised that I had never heard of, or seen this film before.
shareI just caught this the other night and I thought a lot of the voices were dubbed, perhaps by the actors themselves, but it was pretty obvious, and obvious that it wasn't just a synch issue.
And agreed, there was NOTHING to hold on to by the end of the film. It almost seems like they took the end of King Kong, bright lights flashing, and something was supposed to happen, and what did happen was so far from dramatic, it left me wondering, WHAT??? AND???
