The Man Who Haunted Himself is a classic movie!

Finally this fantastic cult movie has been given a region 2 release on dvd. This is a hugely underated movie and one of my all time favorites. It is usually put on TV late at night when only insomniacs and serial killers are up, and so here is your chance to see it on DVD with commentary by Roger Moore.
Moore's best performance ever, The Man Who Haunted Himself is truly a classic film.

Watch it!

I agree

Yes I agree too. What might be called "high concept" before the term became fashionable.

If you can't count it or measure it it's an opinion and not a fact.

I Absolutely agree, Very underrated film. Moore is at his absolute best and shows what a great actor he his. The film has loads of style and pace. Great concept and story with brilliant support actors.

Watched it again on The Horror Channel yesterday.
Always been one of my favourites....only marred, slightly, by the character of Julie Anderson. Her overly hysterical reactions don't fit in with the rest of the movie.

I wonder how Pelham manages to explain the disappearance of his double after the denouement? What does he tell his wife + Alex, both of whom now know there was a double?

reply

SPOILERS !!!!!!!

Well, as it seems that the "real" Pelham survived ( I think he did ) everybody will be satisfied that the "imposter" died a horrible death and his body never found. Happens all the time.
